Dear GSM stakeholder
These days all of us are dealing with news about the development and spread of COVID-19 (Corona virus). This global pandemic is having significant consequences on our daily lives.
In Spring 2020 it was clear that a physical conference in Summertime would not be possible, meaning that GSM 2020 would not be taking place at the usual time in Lucerne, Switzerland.
Following the latest government guidelines, the situation looks set to improve to a level that will allow a physical conference to take place in Autumn 2020. Based on this official information we have decided that GSM 2020 will TAKE PLACE as a PHYSICAL conference on 19 – 20 October at the KKL in Lucerne/Switzerland. As a fall back solution for those, who are still not allowed to travel to Switzerland, we offer a VIRTUAL PARTICIPATION possibility, i.e. a remote access to the presentations.
Together with our Chair Prof. Christoph Imboden and the International Board of Advisors (IAB) a lively and exciting GSM 2020 symposium with up to 40 contributions will be organised. Find here the latest news about the program.
