GSM Status due to Covid

Dear GSM stakeholder

These days all of us are dealing with news about the development and spread of COVID-19 (Corona virus). This global pandemic is having significant consequences on our daily lives.
In Spring 2020 it was clear that a physical conference in Summertime would not be possible, meaning that GSM 2020 would not be taking place at the usual time in Lucerne, Switzerland.

Following the latest government guidelines, the situation looks set to improve to a level that will allow a physical conference to take place in Autumn 2020. Based on this official information we have decided that GSM 2020 will take place as a physical conference on 19 – 20 October at the KKL in Lucerne. As a fall back solution, we plan also to provide a live on-line access to the presentations for those, who are still not allowed to travel to Switzerland.

Together with our Chair Prof. Christoph Imboden and the International Board of Advisors (IAB) a lively and exciting GSM 2020 symposium with up to 40 contributions will be organised. Find here the latest news about the program.
We invite you now to register for the sessions with oral presentations (keynotes, invited and contributed talks), poster sessions, appreciated, unique networking events (like the GSM Network Dinner and GSM Grid Apéro) and additionally the subsequent European Fuel Cell Forum event EFCF 2020, 20 – 23 Oct also in the KKL in Lucerne, with conference, exhibition, tutorials, … It is possible to book with special GSM rebate and only parts of the EFCF 2020.

Register with No Risk – until 30 June with early bird privileges, and until 31. August without late fees – because in case of no show due to CoVid restrictions, the GSM organizers guarantee the full reimbursement of your fees or if you like, down to the reduced fees in case of an on-line participation.

Best regards and stay healthy!
